Floating Water Plants

Floating water plants – true to their name these water plants spend the summer floating in the pond. The species we grow are hardy natives which means they grow naturally in Britain and survive the British winter.

These floating plants provide shelter and shade to fish and wildlife. As they grow they remove nutrients from the water and reduce light levels thereby helping to reduce the growth of algae.

They couldn’t be simpler to plant. Just drop them in.

They overwinter by sinking to the bottom of the pond returning to surface in the spring. Therefore they are available from May onwards.
